Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with reconciliations for complex accounts
- Develop and maintain internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with audit teams during external examinations
- Streamline financial reporting workflows using ERP systems
- Mentor junior accountants on technical best practices
- Support strategic initiatives through variance analysis and KPI tracking
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA/MBA preferred
- 5+ years of public accounting or corporate finance experience
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven experience managing complex reconciliations
- Certifications (CPA, CMA) or actively pursuing
