Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage SOX controls documentation and internal audit coordination
- Develop advanced financial models for forecasting and budgeting
- Mentor junior staff on accounting best practices and system utilization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process optimization
- Oversee tax provision calculations and regulatory filings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA/MBA preferred
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Deep expertise in GAAP, SOX, and financial reporting standards
