Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end/year-end closing processes with SOX audit coordination
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls for asset/liability management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Automate financial reporting workflows using advanced Excel and ERP systems
- Manage tax compliance filings and support external audit engagements
- Mentor junior accountants while implementing process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years public accounting or corporate finance experience
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX 404, and SEC reporting requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Power Query)
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle Financials
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in high-volume environments
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder presentations
- Proven track record of process optimization in accounting operations
