Responsibilities
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with strict adherence to GAAP and IFRS standards
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage SOX compliance testing and internal control documentation
- Oversee intercompany reconciliations and elimination entries for multi-entity operations
- Develop and implement financial models for forecasting and variance analysis
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual financial audits
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, consolidation, and technical accounting research
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Experience with multinational tax compliance and transfer pricing
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial insights to non-financial stakeholders
