Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with reconciliations across all accounts
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls for financial reporting
- Collaborate with auditors during external examinations and regulatory reviews
- Create financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in full-cycle accounting with Big 4 or mid-tier firm background
- Advanced proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or equivalent ERP systems
- Deep understanding of SOX compliance and financial reporting standards
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail accuracy
