Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead financial reporting initiatives including SEC filings and investor communications
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Analyze variance reports and provide actionable insights to executive leadership
- Manage SOX compliance testing documentation and remediation
- Mentor junior accounting staff and optimize financial workflows
- Collaborate with external auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA certification required
- 5+ years of public accounting or corporate finance experience
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Excel modeling
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting standards (US GAAP/IFRS)
