Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, plan, and execute complex corporate events and conferences with precision and creativity.
- Manage the entire event budget, ensuring cost-efficiency while maintaining high quality standards.
- Liaise directly with clients to understand objectives, curate bespoke experiences, and manage expectations.
- Negotiate and manage relationships with external vendors, including venues, caterers, AV specialists, and contractors.
- Oversee on-site logistics, ensuring safety protocols, crowd management, and operational flow during events.
- Lead a small team of event coordinators, providing mentorship and performance feedback.
- Analyze event metrics post-deployment to optimize future strategies and report ROI to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (3-5+ years) in event management, preferably within a corporate or agency setting.
- Strong portfolio showcasing successful management of large-scale events (500+ attendees).
- Excellent project management skills with a keen eye for detail and a problem-solving mindset.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in event management software (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite, or similar) and MS Office Suite.
- Valid UK driver's license and willingness to travel for site visits.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
