Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Lead the strategic planning process for large-scale conferences, product launches, and corporate galas.
- Vendor Relations: Source, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with venues, caterers, AV contractors, and transportation services.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement contingency plans to ensure safety and continuity during events.
- Team Leadership: Conduct regular team briefings, delegate tasks effectively, and provide performance feedback.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed post-event reports including budgets, feedback analysis, and ROI assessments.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience in events management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in event management software (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite, Asana) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills, capable of interacting with C-suite executives and diverse stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
