Responsibilities
- End-to-end ownership of 15-20 annual events, including budgeting (avg. $500K-$2M), vendor negotiation, and timeline management
- Lead cross-functional teams of 10+ stakeholders across design, production, and marketing departments
- Develop innovative event concepts aligned with client brand objectives and KPIs
- Oversee on-site execution, troubleshooting logistics, and ensuring flawless attendee experiences
- Analyze post-event data to measure ROI and derive actionable insights for future strategies
- Manage client relationships, serving as primary point of contact for Fortune 500 accounts
- Drive sustainability initiatives and inclusive practices across all event activations
Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive experience in corporate events management with $500K+ budget oversight
- Proven track record executing 20+ large-scale events (200+ attendees) annually
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field
- Expertise in Cvent, Aventri, or similar event management platforms
- Strong vendor network in NYC metro area (venues, AV, catering, production)
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation preferred
- Exceptional crisis management skills with ability to adapt to last-minute changes
- Portfolio demonstrating innovative event concepts and measurable success metrics
