Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end event lifecycle management: conception, budgeting, vendor coordination, and post-event analysis
- Manage cross-functional teams of 10+ professionals including designers, technicians, and marketing specialists
- Develop innovative event concepts aligned with client brand narratives and KPIs
- Negotiate contracts with premium venues, caterers, and A-list entertainment partners
- Implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans for large-scale events (500-2000 attendees)
- Leverage data analytics to optimize event ROI and client satisfaction metrics
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders through quarterly business reviews
Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive experience in corporate events management with 3+ years in leadership roles
- Proven track record executing events with budgets exceeding $500,000
- Exceptional project management certification (PMP or CEM preferred)
- Expertise in Cvent, Bizzabo, or similar event management platforms
- Deep network of NYC venue and vendor connections
- Crisis management experience with live event troubleshooting
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ high-impact corporate events
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Marketing, or related field
