Responsibilities
- End-to-end management of 15+ high-stakes events annually, including budgeting (avg. £500k+), vendor negotiations, and stakeholder coordination
- Lead cross-functional teams of 8-12 professionals across creative, logistics, and digital domains
- Develop innovative event concepts that align with client brand narratives and business objectives
- Implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency protocols for complex multi-day events
- Leverage data analytics to measure ROI and optimize event performance post-execution
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with premium venues, suppliers, and industry influencers
- Mentor junior staff and drive continuous improvement in event delivery processes
Qualifications
- 7+ years in events management with demonstrable experience producing international corporate events (min. 500+ attendees)
- Proven expertise in budget management (avg. £300k+) and contract negotiation
- Exceptional proficiency with event tech platforms (Cvent, Bizzabo, Aventri)
- Strong network of premium venue and vendor relationships in London/Europe
- Relevant degree or certification in Events Management, Hospitality, or Marketing
- Fluency in English; additional languages (French, German, Mandarin) highly advantageous
- Exceptional crisis management skills with documented success in high-pressure scenarios
