Responsibilities
- Lead full-lifecycle event planning for 10+ high-profile annual events including executive retreats and international conferences
- Manage $2M+ annual event budgets with meticulous financial forecasting and vendor negotiations
- Develop innovative event concepts aligned with client brand identities and marketing objectives
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including AV, catering, logistics, and digital production
- Implement technology solutions for hybrid events and virtual attendee engagement
- Conduct post-event ROI analysis and optimization reports for key stakeholders
- Mentor junior event coordinators and foster a culture of continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or Marketing with 7+ years progressive experience
- Proven track record executing complex corporate events (500+ attendees) in major markets
- Advanced proficiency in event management platforms (Cvent, Bizzabo) and budgeting software
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation strongly preferred
- Exceptional vendor network with relationships in top-tier NYC venues and production houses
- Demonstrated crisis management and contingency planning capabilities
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ successful large-scale event case studies
