Responsibilities
- End-to-end ownership of 15+ annual events (50-2,000 attendees) from ideation to post-event analysis
- Lead cross-functional teams including vendors, AV technicians, and marketing partners
- Manage $500K+ event budgets with meticulous financial forecasting and vendor negotiations
- Develop innovative event tech solutions (VR activations, hybrid platforms, gamification)
- Execute risk mitigation protocols and ensure compliance with venue regulations
- Analyze post-event KPIs and optimize ROI through data-driven insights
Qualifications
- 7+ years progressive experience in corporate or luxury event management
- Proven success managing complex budgets exceeding $300K
- Certification in CMP or CSEP preferred
- Expertise in hybrid event production and virtual engagement platforms
- Strong vendor network across Austin's hospitality and tech sectors
- Proficiency in event management software (Cvent, Aventri, Eventbrite Pro)
- Exceptional crisis management skills and calm demeanor under pressure
