- End-to-end ownership of 10+ annual events (500-2000 attendees), from concept design to post-event analysis
- Strategic vendor management and budget oversight ($500k+ events)
- Cross-functional leadership with marketing, sales, and executive stakeholders
- Development of innovative event technology integrations (AR/VR, live streaming)
- Team mentorship and performance optimization for 5 direct reports
- Crisis management and contingency planning for complex logistics
- Data-driven ROI reporting and client satisfaction optimization
Qualifications
- 7+ years in corporate event management with 3+ years in leadership
- Proven success scaling events across 3+ US markets
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation preferred
- Expertise in event tech platforms (Cvent, Bizzabo, Aventri)
- Portfolio showcasing $250k+ budget events with measurable outcomes
- Exceptional negotiation skills with Fortune 500 clientele
