Responsibilities
- End-to-end event lifecycle management from ideation to post-event evaluation
- Lead cross-functional teams including designers, vendors, and technical specialists
- Manage complex budgets up to £500K with precise financial oversight
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with premium venues and suppliers
- Implement cutting-edge event technology (AV, registration platforms, VR experiences)
- Drive client satisfaction through proactive communication and expectation management
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and accessibility regulations
Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive events management experience with £500K+ budgets
- Proven success executing 50+ corporate/luxury events across EMEA
- Advanced proficiency in event management software (Cvent, Aventri, Eventbrite)
- Strong vendor negotiation contracts with £250K+ annual spend
- Relevant degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or Marketing
- Exceptional crisis management and problem-solving abilities
- Fluency in English with proficiency in a second European language preferred
