Responsibilities
- End-to-end ownership of 10-15 annual events (50-500 attendees) including venue selection, vendor negotiation, and budget management
- Develop innovative event concepts aligned with client brand objectives and ROI metrics
- Lead cross-functional teams of designers, marketers, and production specialists
- Implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans for complex logistics
- Leverage data analytics to measure event success and optimize future experiences
- Nurture strategic partnerships with venues, caterers, and technology providers
- Mentor junior staff and drive continuous improvement in event processes
Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive experience in corporate events management with $500K+ budget responsibility
- Proven track record executing premium-tier events in major metropolitan markets
- Expertise in virtual/hybrid event production using platforms like Cvent or Bizzabo
- Strong vendor negotiation skills with established industry relationships
- Advanced proficiency in project management software (Asana, Monday.com) and CRM systems
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities under high-pressure situations
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Valid PMP certification or equivalent project management credential
