Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and execute 15+ high-profile events annually (50-500+ attendees)
- Manage $500K+ event budgets with meticulous financial oversight
- Lead cross-functional teams including vendors, designers, and stakeholders
- Develop innovative event technology integrations (AR/VR, live streaming)
- Conduct post-event analysis and ROI reporting for clients
- Mentor junior staff and optimize event production workflows
- Build and maintain strategic vendor partnerships citywide
Qualifications
- 5+ years in corporate events management with agency experience
- Proven success executing complex multi-day conferences and galas
- Advanced proficiency in event management software (Cvent, Eventbrite)
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Hospitality, or related field
- Strong negotiation skills with venue and vendor contracts
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation preferred
- Exceptional crisis management and on-site problem-solving abilities
