Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, plan, and execute 15+ annual events with budgets exceeding $500K
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with venues, caterers, and production teams
- Lead cross-functional teams including designers, marketers, and technical specialists
- Develop detailed event timelines, risk mitigation plans, and contingency protocols
- Analyze post-event ROI metrics and compile comprehensive executive reports
- Oversee digital integration including live streaming, social media activations, and hybrid event components
Qualifications
- 8+ years progressive experience in corporate events management with $500K+ budget oversight
- Proven track record executing 50+ events across diverse industries (tech, finance, luxury)
- Expertise in Cvent, Bizzabo, or similar event management platforms
- Strong financial acumen with ability to manage complex budgets and P&L statements
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation preferred
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with demonstrated crisis management experience
- Fluency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
