- Manage cross-functional teams including vendors, designers, and technical crews
- Develop comprehensive event timelines and risk mitigation strategies
- Negotiate contracts with premium venues and service providers
- Analyze post-event ROI metrics and optimize future experiences
- Mentor junior event coordinators through performance development plans
- Implement sustainable practices in event operations
Qualifications
- 8+ years progressive experience in corporate event management
- Proven track record executing NYC-based events for 200+ attendees
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation preferred
- Expertise in budget management for $500K+ events
- Advanced proficiency in Cvent, Bizzabo, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong network of NYC venue and vendor relationships
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Marketing, or related field
