Responsibilities
- Design and execute premium corporate events with budgets exceeding $500K, from concept to post-event analysis
- Lead cross-functional teams including vendors, venues, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery
- Develop innovative event concepts aligned with client brand narratives and KPIs
- Manage complex logistics including transportation, accommodation, and technology integration
- Analyze event ROI through data-driven reporting and implement continuous improvement strategies
- Negotiate contracts with top-tier venues and vendors while maintaining strict budget controls
- Mentor junior event staff and foster a culture of excellence within the events department
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years progressive experience in corporate event management with $500K+ budget exposure
- Proven track record executing 50+ high-profile events across diverse industries
- Certification in CMP or CSEP (or equivalent international certification)
- Expertise in event technology platforms (Cvent, Bizzabo, Aventri)
- Exceptional crisis management skills with ability to resolve unforeseen challenges
- Strong financial acumen including P&L management and contract negotiation
- Portfolio demonstrating innovative event design and measurable impact
