Responsibilities
- Design and execute end-to-end corporate events (conferences, product launches, galas) for 100-2000+ attendees
- Manage £500K+ event budgets with meticulous financial oversight and vendor negotiations
- Lead cross-functional teams including creative, production, and marketing stakeholders
- Develop innovative event concepts incorporating cutting-edge technology and sustainability practices
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with premium venues, suppliers, and industry influencers
- Implement post-event analytics to measure ROI and optimize future strategies
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and accessibility regulations across all events
Qualifications
- 7+ years in events management with 3+ years in senior leadership roles
- Proven experience managing complex corporate or luxury events with budgets exceeding £300K
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills with established industry network
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for events
- Proficiency in event management software (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite) and CRM systems
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with crisis management experience
- Relevant degree or certification in events management/hospitality
- Fluent English; additional European languages highly desirable
