Responsibilities
- End-to-end management of 15+ high-profile events annually, including budgeting (up to £500k), vendor negotiations, and timeline oversight
- Lead cross-functional teams of designers, technicians, and coordinators to execute flawless event logistics
- Develop innovative event concepts aligned with client brand narratives and KPIs
- Manage crisis protocols and on-site problem-solving for live events
- Forge strategic partnerships with premium venues, caterers, and production houses
- Analyze post-event ROI metrics and present comprehensive reports to stakeholders
- Mentor junior staff and drive continuous improvement in event delivery processes
Qualifications
- 7+ years in events management with 3+ years leading corporate/conference events
- Proven track record executing events for global brands (minimum 3 events >£300k budget)
- Strong vendor management experience with luxury venue and production partners
- Prince2 or PMP certification preferred
- Expertise in budget forecasting and financial reporting for events
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with demonstrated crisis management examples
- Fluency in event management software (Cvent, EventPro, or similar)
- Valid UK driving license and willingness for occasional European travel
