Responsibilities
- Design and execute 15+ premium events annually with budgets exceeding $500K
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with top-tier NYC venues and suppliers
- Lead cross-functional teams of 10+ creatives, technicians, and support staff
- Develop detailed event timelines, risk mitigation plans, and crisis management protocols
- Oversee digital integration including live streaming, AR experiences, and hybrid event platforms
- Measure ROI through post-event analytics and client satisfaction reporting
- Maintain industry compliance for large-scale public gatherings in NYC
Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive event management experience with corporate clients
- Proven track record executing events for 500+ attendees in NYC metropolitan area
- Expertise in budget management over $1M annually with P&L responsibility
- Strong vendor network including venues, AV, catering, and production partners
- Certification in event management (CMP, CSEP) or equivalent experience
- Advanced proficiency in event tech platforms (Cvent, Eventbrite, Aventri)
- Exceptional crisis management skills with 3+ major incident resolutions
