Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and deliver 15+ premium events annually with budgets up to £500K
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with venues, caterers, and AV specialists
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including designers, technicians, and client stakeholders
- Implement risk mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with health/safety regulations
- Analyze post-event ROI metrics and optimize future strategies
- Mentor junior staff and develop innovative event technologies
Qualifications
- 7+ years in corporate event management with £1M+ budget experience
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation preferred
- Expertise in hybrid/virtual event platforms (e.g., Hopin, Cvent)
- Proven crisis management during live events
- Advanced proficiency in project management tools (Asana, Monday.com)
- Strong P&L management and vendor negotiation skills
- Portfolio demonstrating 50+ executed events
