Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, plan, and execute 15+ high-stakes events annually (corporate conferences, product launches, brand activations)
- Manage $2M+ event budgets with meticulous financial oversight and vendor negotiations
- Lead cross-functional teams including designers, AV technicians, and marketing specialists
- Develop innovative event strategies aligned with client brand objectives and KPIs
- Oversees logistics from venue selection to on-site execution and post-event analysis
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with premium vendors and venues
- Implement risk mitigation protocols ensuring flawless event delivery
Qualifications
- 7+ years progressive experience in corporate event management with 3+ years in leadership
- Proven track record executing complex events for B2B clients ($500K+ budgets)
- Expertise in event technology platforms (Cvent, Aventri, Bizzabo)
- Exceptional project management with ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Strong vendor negotiation and contract management skills
- Relevant certification (CMP, CSEP preferred)
- Ability to travel domestically/internationally (20-30%)
