Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning and execution of 15+ annual corporate events ($500k+ budget)
- Manage cross-functional teams (vendors, designers, tech, catering) across 3+ concurrent projects
- Develop innovative event concepts aligned with client brand narratives and KPIs
- Oversee budget forecasting, vendor negotiations, and contract management
- Implement risk mitigation protocols and crisis management procedures
- Leverage CRM tools to analyze post-event ROI and optimize future strategies
- Mentor junior staff and foster collaborative team culture
Qualifications
- 8+ years progressive experience in corporate events management
- Proven success executing large-scale conferences ($200k+ budgets)
- Expertise in vendor management, budgeting, and contract negotiation
- Certification in CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Cvent, Bizzabo, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Exceptional communication skills with C-level stakeholders
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ complex event case studies required
