Responsibilities
- Strategize, plan, and execute 15+ high-impact events annually (corporate conferences, product launches, cultural festivals)
- Manage £1M+ event budgets with meticulous financial oversight and vendor negotiations
- Lead cross-functional teams (design, logistics, marketing) ensuring seamless collaboration
- Develop innovative event concepts aligned with client brand narratives and KPIs
- Oversee risk management protocols and crisis resolution during live events
- Implement sustainable practices across all event operations
- Analyze post-event data to optimize ROI and inform future strategies
- Cultivate relationships with venue partners, suppliers, and industry stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years progressive experience in corporate event management with £500K+ budget exposure
- Proven expertise managing complex multi-day events with 500+ attendees
- Advanced proficiency in event tech platforms (Cvent, Eventbrite, Aventri)
- Exceptional stakeholder management and vendor negotiation skills
- Strong financial acumen with budget forecasting and cost-control abilities
- Relevant certifications (CMP, CMM preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating innovative event executions and measurable outcomes
