Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and execute 15-20 high-profile corporate events annually (conferences, product launches, galas) with budgets exceeding $500K
- Lead cross-functional teams including vendors, creative agencies, and internal stakeholders
- Develop comprehensive event strategies aligned with client business objectives and brand identity
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiations for venues, catering, AV, and production partners
- Oversee budget allocation, financial tracking, and ROI analysis for all events
- Implement digital event technologies (hybrid platforms, registration systems, live streaming)
- Conduct post-event evaluations and create detailed improvement reports
Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive experience in corporate event management with minimum 3 years in leadership
- Proven track record executing large-scale events (500+ attendees) in NYC market
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation preferred
- Expertise in budget management for events $300K+
- Strong proficiency in event tech platforms (Cvent, Bizzabo, Aventri)
- Exceptional project management and crisis resolution skills
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, or related field
