Responsibilities
- Design and execute end-to-end event strategies for 15+ annual high-stakes events ($500K+ budgets)
- Manage vendor relationships with premium venues, caterers, and AV specialists across NYC
- Develop innovative event concepts aligning with client brand narratives and KPIs
- Oversee complex logistics including guest experience, security protocols, and contingency planning
- Analyze post-event metrics and ROI to optimize future event performance
- Mentor junior event coordinators through project lifecycle management
- Collaborate with marketing teams on digital engagement and social amplification
- Negotiate contracts ensuring budget adherence and contractual compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or Marketing with 7+ years experience
- CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) certification or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating 50+ executed events with budgets exceeding $250K
- Expertise in venue sourcing, contract negotiation, and crisis management
- Advanced proficiency in Cvent, Eventbrite, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams of 10+ stakeholders
- Deep knowledge of NYC event landscape and vendor ecosystem
- Exceptional communication skills with C-suite executives and high-net-worth clients
