Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of event planning, from concept development to post-event analysis.
- Manage event budgets, ensuring profitability through efficient resource allocation and vendor negotiation.
- Lead and mentor a team of event coordinators and junior staff.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and logistics.
- Conduct site visits and manage relationships with third-party vendors, including venues, caterers, and AV specialists.
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues on-site.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in event management, preferably within a corporate or luxury services setting.
- Proven track record of managing budgets of £50,000+.
- Strong proficiency in event management software (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite, or similar).
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Relevant degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or Business Administration.
