Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, plan, and execute high-impact corporate events (conferences, product launches, galas) with budgets up to $1M
- Lead cross-functional teams including vendors, designers, and marketing specialists to deliver seamless event experiences
- Develop detailed event timelines, budgets, and contingency plans ensuring flawless execution
- Negotiate contracts with premium venues, caterers, and AV providers while maintaining cost efficiency
- Implement post-event analysis using KPIs to measure ROI and optimize future strategies
- Mentor junior event staff and foster a culture of innovation and excellence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years progressive experience in corporate event management with $500K+ budget oversight
- Proven expertise in managing complex logistics for 500+ attendee events across multiple venues
- Strong vendor network relationships with NYC's premier event venues and service providers
- Advanced proficiency in event management software (Cvent, Eventbrite) and budgeting tools
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at executive level
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation or equivalent
