Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct regular facility audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations to identify hazards
- Lead emergency response planning and crisis management initiatives
- Deliver engaging safety training programs for 500+ employees across multiple sites
- Manage environmental compliance including waste management, air permits, and spill prevention
- Collaborate with leadership to integrate EHS metrics into business operations
- Stay current with evolving regulations and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- Professional certifications (CSP, CHMM, or CIH preferred)
- Advanced knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA standards, and ISO frameworks
- Proven experience developing safety management systems and training programs
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in EHS software platforms
- Excellent communication abilities for cross-functional collaboration and regulatory reporting
- Ability to lead high-pressure incident investigations and corrective actions
