Responsibilities
- Develop and implement corporate EHS policies aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation
- Manage hazardous waste disposal programs and air/water quality monitoring systems
- Conduct workplace safety audits and ergonomic assessments for 500+ employees
- Coordinate emergency response plans and crisis management protocols
- Mentor EHS team members and provide specialized training programs
- Track KPIs and prepare executive-level EHS performance reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field
- 10+ years EHS management experience in industrial/manufacturing settings
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) and/or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) credentials
- Expertise in Texas state environmental regulations and OSHA VPP programs
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software platforms (e.g., ProcessMAP, Enablon)
- Proven track record of reducing TRIR rates by 30%+ in previous roles
- Strong analytical skills with experience developing data-driven safety metrics
