Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex PCB layouts using Altium Designer for high-reliability automotive systems
- Lead signal integrity analysis and EMI/EMC compliance testing for consumer electronics
- Optimize power electronics circuits for efficiency in battery management systems
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in design methodologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware with firmware solutions
- Validate designs through rapid prototyping and simulation using MATLAB/Simulink
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in PCB design for high-volume consumer products
- Expertise in power electronics, motor drives, and battery management systems
- Proficiency in SPICE simulation and hardware-in-the-loop testing
- Strong knowledge of ISO 26262 functional safety standards
- Proven track record of delivering projects from concept to mass production
- Experience with embedded C programming and real-time operating systems
