Responsibilities
- Lead System Design: Architect and oversee the design of high-voltage power systems and PCB layouts from concept to production.
- Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and provide technical leadership on complex circuit problems and design reviews.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure all designs meet strict industry standards (UL, IEC, IEEE) and regulatory requirements.
- Prototyping: Develop and test prototypes to validate electrical performance, signal integrity, and thermal management.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation, schematics, BOMs, and design for manufacturability (DFM) reports.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with mechanical engineers and software developers to integrate systems seamlessly.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelorâs degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Masterâs degree (MSEE) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in electrical design, preferably in the consumer electronics or industrial automation sector.
- Tools: Proficiency in industry-standard EDA tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence OrCAD, or PSpice.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design, power electronics, and signal integrity.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
