Responsibilities
- Design and architect advanced electrical circuits and systems, including analog and digital components, ensuring compliance with industry standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC).
- Lead the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) design process using industry-standard tools like Altium Designer or Cadence OrCAD, from schematic capture to layout and manufacturing files.
- Conduct thorough circuit simulations and analysis using SPICE tools to validate design performance before prototyping.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on complex engineering challenges and best practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical engineers, software developers, and product managers to integrate electrical systems into broader product architectures.
- Debug and troubleshoot hardware issues in the lab, providing rapid solutions for prototype iterations and production rollouts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in electrical system design, embedded systems, or power electronics.
- Proficiency in PCB design software (Altium, KiCad, Eagle, or Cadence).
- Strong understanding of microcontrollers (e.g., ARM, STM32, Arduino) and sensor interfaces.
- Experience with embedded C/C++ and firmware development is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, DFM (Design for Manufacturing), and testing methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
