Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced power electronics systems for solar inverters and energy storage solutions
- Lead PCB layout and validation for high-efficiency DC-DC converters
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into larger product platforms
- Conduct rigorous testing and failure analysis on prototype hardware
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on complex circuit designs
- Stay current with industry standards (IEC 62109, UL 1741) and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Expertise in power electronics design, including switching converters and magnetics
- Proficiency with Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or similar ECAD tools
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor device characteristics and thermal management
- Experience with embedded systems programming (C/C++) for motor control applications
- Proven track record of bringing products from concept to production
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
