Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and ArgoCD for microservice deployments
- Monitor system performance with Prometheus/Grafana and implement proactive alerting
- Lead container orchestration initiatives using Kubernetes and Docker Swarm
- Automate security compliance with DevSecOps practices (Snyk, Trivy)
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer code reviews
- Document infrastructure blueprints and operational playbooks
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps/SRE roles with cloud platforms
- Expertise in at least two programming languages (Python, Go, or Bash)
- Certifications in AWS/GCP and Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD preferred)
- Proven track record with GitOps workflows and GitLab CI/CD
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring and observability tools
- Strong background in Linux system administration and networking
- Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
