Responsibilities
- Design and deploy sophisticated machine learning models to solve complex business challenges.
- Translate ambiguous business requirements into robust, high-impact data science projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate models into production environments.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover hidden trends and provide data-driven recommendations to stakeholders.
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the technical excellence of the team.
- Optimize existing pipelines to improve predictive accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Present complex analytical findings to non-technical executive leadership in a clear, compelling manner.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or statistical modeling.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python or R, with deep familiarity with Scikit-Learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
- Advanced SQL skills and extensive experience working with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift).
- Solid understanding of data architecture, distributed computing (Spark/Databricks), and MLOps principles.
- Proven ability to bridge the gap between technical data output and business strategy.
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting findings to senior management.
