The Opportunity:
We are looking for an analytical thinker who can bridge the gap between technical implementation and business strategy. You will have the autonomy to experiment with new methodologies and the mentorship to grow your expertise in Deep Learning and Natural Language Processing.
Responsibilities
- Model Development: Design, train, and deploy end-to-end machine learning models, including Deep Learning and NLP, ensuring high accuracy and scalability.
- Data Strategy: Lead the data strategy for key projects, performing exploratory data analysis (EDA) and statistical inference to uncover hidden patterns.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to define technical requirements and translate business objectives into data-driven solutions.
- Optimization: Continuously monitor model performance in production environments, optimizing pipelines for latency, throughput, and cost efficiency.
- Research: Stay at the forefront of industry trends by conducting literature reviews and implementing novel algorithms to improve our competitive edge.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation and clear visualization dashboards to communicate complex findings to non-technical audiences.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Programming: Strong proficiency in Python (PyTorch/TensorFlow) or R, with experience in distributed computing frameworks (Spark, Hadoop).
- Database Skills: Deep expertise in SQL and experience working with large-scale distributed databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Snowflake).
- Mathematical Foundation: Solid understanding of linear algebra, calculus, probability, and statistical modeling.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in data science or machine learning roles.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data insights to executive leadership effectively.
