We are looking for a visionary Senior Data Scientist to join our core innovation team in San Francisco. In this role, you will bridge the gap between advanced research and production-grade software, building the models that power the next generation of predictive insights.
You will work alongside elite engineers to architect scalable machine learning systems that handle petabytes of data, ensuring our clients stay ahead of the curve in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy end-to-end machine learning pipelines using Python, PyTorch, and cloud-native services.
- Fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) and develop RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems for specialized domain tasks.
- Lead the development of predictive models that drive core product features, from churn forecasting to dynamic pricing engines.
- Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to define data strategies and translate business goals into technical requirements.
- Design and execute rigorous A/B testing and experimentation frameworks to validate model efficacy in real-world scenarios.
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in data science, with a proven track record of shipping models to production.
- Deep expertise in Python and the data science stack (Pandas, Scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow).
- Hands-on experience with MLOps tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, or Weights & Biases.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with distributed systems like Spark or Snowflake.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex algorithmic concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
