Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy advanced ML models for predictive analytics and pattern recognition
- Analyze large-scale datasets using Python, SQL, and cloud-based tools (AWS/GCP)
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions using statistical methodologies
- Create compelling data visualizations and executive dashboards using Tableau/Power BI
- Mentor junior data scientists and foster a collaborative data culture
- Implement A/B testing frameworks to validate model performance
- Stay current with emerging AI/ML research and implement best practices
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in applied data science and ML model development
- Expertise in Python (scikit-learn, TensorFlow) and SQL with database optimization
- Strong statistical foundation with experience in experimental design
- Proven track record of translating data insights into business impact
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS SageMaker/GCP Vertex AI)
- Excellent communication skills for presenting to technical and non-technical stakeholders
