Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize machine learning models for clinical prediction and patient risk stratification
- Analyze large-scale healthcare datasets to identify trends and anomalies
- Translate business requirements into technical data science solutions
- Present findings to executive stakeholders through compelling visualizations
- Mentor junior data scientists and implement best practices in model validation
- Lead A/B testing frameworks for healthcare intervention strategies
Qualifications
- 5+ years in data science with 3+ years in healthcare analytics
- Expertise in Python, SQL, and statistical modeling (scikit-learn, TensorFlow)
- Strong experience with EHR data (FHIR, HL7 standards)
- Master's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- Proven track record of deploying production ML models
- Excellent communication skills for technical/non-technical audiences
- Published research in healthcare informatics preferred
