Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end data science solutions using Python, R, and distributed computing frameworks
- Develop predictive models for customer segmentation, lifetime value forecasting, and churn reduction
- Create interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau/Power BI to communicate insights to executive stakeholders
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy models into production environments
- Conduct A/B tests and experimental design to validate model performance and business impact
- Mentor junior data scientists and establish best practices for model validation and documentation
- Stay current with emerging techniques in deep learning and natural language processing
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in applied data science with proven impact in business settings
- Expertise in machine learning algorithms (random forests, gradient boosting, neural networks)
- Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation with pandas, NumPy, and Spark
- Strong statistical foundation with experience in experimental design and causal inference
- Portfolio demonstrating complex data science projects with measurable business outcomes
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization technologies
