Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy production-ready ML models for predictive analytics and NLP applications
- Lead end-to-end data science projects: from data exploration to model deployment and monitoring
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate business problems into technical solutions
- Conduct advanced statistical analysis and A/B testing to validate hypotheses and drive decisions
- Mentor junior scientists and foster best practices in model documentation and reproducibility
- Stay current with emerging AI/ML techniques through research implementation and conference contributions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in applied data science with proven track record of deploying ML models
- Expertise in Python, SQL, and ML frameworks (TensorFlow/PyTorch)
- Strong statistical background with experience in experimental design and causal inference
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop)
- Portfolio demonstrating complex problem-solving with impact quantification
- PhD or Master's in Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- Excellent communication skills for presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
