Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end machine learning pipelines for predictive modeling and NLP applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business challenges into data-driven solutions
- Lead A/B testing frameworks and causal inference methodologies for product optimization
- Mentor junior data scientists and conduct technical workshops on advanced analytics
- Develop scalable data processing workflows using cloud-native technologies (AWS/GCP)
- Present findings to C-suite executives through compelling data visualizations and narratives
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and contribute to open-source data science tools
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Statistics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field with 5+ years of industry experience
- Expertise in Python (scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch) and SQL with billion-row dataset handling
- Proven track record of deploying production ML models with measurable business impact
- Strong statistical foundations: experimental design, Bayesian inference, and time series analysis
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS SageMaker/GCP Vertex AI) and MLOps best practices
- Demonstrable ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Publications at NeurIPS, ICML, or KDD conferences preferred
