Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced ML algorithms for patient risk prediction and treatment optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Lead A/B testing frameworks and statistical analysis for product improvements
- Develop data pipelines and ETL processes for large-scale healthcare datasets
- Mentor junior data scientists and conduct peer code reviews
- Present findings to executive stakeholders through compelling data visualizations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in applied data science with production ML systems
- Expertise in Python, SQL, and distributed computing (Spark/AWS)
- Advanced degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- Strong portfolio of published research or Kaggle competition wins
- Experience with healthcare or regulated industry data compliance (HIPAA)
- Proficiency in visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI) and statistical modeling
