Responsibilities
- Lead the design and deployment of advanced threat detection and prevention systems.
- Conduct proactive threat hunting and forensic analysis across hybrid-cloud infrastructures.
- Manage and optimize SIEM, EDR, and SOAR platforms for maximum efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate 'Security by Design' principles.
- Direct incident response efforts and serve as a technical lead during high-severity security events.
- Mentor junior security analysts and contribute to internal security best practices.
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts with stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 5+ years of experience in Security Operations (SecOps) or Cyber Defense.
- Deep understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework and industry-standard security protocols.
- Proficiency in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerization security (Kubernetes).
- Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GCIH, or OSCP.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in high-pressure environments.
