Responsibilities
- Architect and implement robust cloud security controls across AWS and GCP environments.
- Lead proactive threat hunting exercises to identify and mitigate sophisticated vulnerabilities.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD security integration pipelines (DevSecOps).
- Perform comprehensive penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to promote 'Security by Design' principles.
- Manage incident response lifecycle, from detection to post-mortem analysis.
- Define and enforce organizational compliance standards (SOC2, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud security engineering.
- Deep expertise in AWS/GCP security services (IAM, KMS, WAF, Security Groups).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Bash for automation.
- Strong understanding of container security (Kubernetes, Docker) and orchestration.
- Active industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, OSCP, AWS Certified Security - Specialty).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex risks to non-technical stakeholders.
