Responsibilities
- Threat Detection & Monitoring: Leverage SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to analyze network traffic and identify suspicious activities in real-time.
- Incident Response: Lead and coordinate major security breaches and incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid recovery.
- Security Architecture: Design and implement advanced security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption protocols.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to proactively identify and remediate risks.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure strict adherence to GDPR, ISO 27001, and other regulatory standards across all global operations.
- Security Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to foster a security-first culture within the organization.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, CISM, or SANS GCIH are highly desirable.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or threat intelligence.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting for automation and tool development.
- Network Knowledge: Deep understanding of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
